Internal Medicine
Board certified in Internal Medicine, the specialty of complex adult disease and the one other doctors call when a case does not fit. Your heart, your kidneys and your medication stay in the same conversation.

Master's degree in Morphofunctional Assessment of Disease-Related Malnutrition, Universidad de Málaga, 60 ECTS, 2025. Bioimpedance and phase angle, nutritional ultrasound, DEXA, dynamometry and functional testing.
Infectious Disease
Expert courses in infectious diseases in emergency medicine and in tropical infectious disease. An international practice sees people who travel, and fever after a trip is not a hormone problem.
Andrology Certified
Trained in andrology, fertility and sexual medicine with ASESA, the Spanish association for the field, across the 2025 and 2026 editions of its national course. Most doctors never train in this at all.

Reported nodule prevalence, palpation against imaging. Blood values describe how the gland works. The image describes what is in it. Most are benign, and you are told so plainly. It matters most if you have an abnormal thyroid function test, a swelling you can see or feel, a known nodule under follow-up, previous radiation to the neck, or a family history. Weight, BMI and the mirror describe the fat you can see. Ultrasound measures the deep fat directly, in millimeters, in minutes. CT and MRI remain the reference standard, and both mean a hospital and a wait.

In the Health ABC cohort it was strength, not mass, that tracked with mortality, and a 2023 meta-analysis put low skeletal muscle mass index against all-cause mortality at a pooled relative risk of 1.57. So both are measured here: grip strength by hand dynamometer, the way the cohort studies did it, and the muscle itself on ultrasound at the quadriceps, thickness and structure, at your own table. Both repeat over time, which is how you see whether anything you do is working.
