Privacy Notice

What happens to what you tell us.

This notice explains how the information you send through the enquiry form on this site is handled. It is written to satisfy Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation and Spanish data protection law.

Who is responsible

The data controller is the physician who provides the medical services described on this site, registered with the Ilustre Colegio Oficial de Médicos de Málaga, collegiate number 292911860, specialist in Internal Medicine and specialist in Endocrinology and Nutrition, practising in Marbella, Spain.

What is collected

Only what you type into the enquiry form:

• Your name.
• An email address or WhatsApp number, so a reply can reach you.
• Where you are, if you choose to give it.
• Which service you are asking about.
• Your message. If you describe symptoms, a diagnosis or a treatment, that is health data, which the GDPR treats as a special category deserving extra protection.

Nothing else is collected. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and does no tracking or profiling of any kind.

Why, and on what legal basis

• To answer your enquiry and, if you decide to go ahead, to arrange your care. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b), steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
• For any health information in your message, the legal basis is Article 9(2)(a), your explicit consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. If you become a patient, the basis for health data then becomes Article 9(2)(h), the provision of health care by a professional bound by professional secrecy.

Giving health information is entirely your choice. You can make an enquiry without describing any symptoms at all.

Who else sees it

Your enquiry is read by me. It is not sold, rented or shared for marketing, ever.

• Netlify hosts this site and processes the form submission on our behalf. Submissions are stored in the Netlify account. Netlify is a United States provider and transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on these pages, which means your IP address reaches Google when the page loads.
• If your enquiry is specifically about concierge physiotherapy, only the information needed to arrange it is passed to the external physiotherapist we work with, and only after you ask us to.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not lead to care are kept only as long as is needed to deal with them, and are then deleted. If you become a patient, your clinical records are kept for the period Spanish law requires for medical documentation, which is a minimum of five years from the end of each episode of care.

Your rights

You can ask, at any time and free of charge, to:

• See the data held about you, and get a copy.
• Correct anything inaccurate.
• Have it deleted.
• Restrict or object to how it is used.
• Receive it in a portable format.
• Withdraw your consent, which stops any further processing based on that consent but does not undo what was lawful beforehand.

Write to contact@longevity-marbella.com and you will have a reply within one month.

If you are not satisfied with the response, you have the right to complain to the Spanish supervisory authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, at www.aepd.es.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, so what you type is encrypted in transit. Enquiries are handled personally and in confidence, under the professional secrecy that binds a physician.

Costa del Sol Medical VIP is a by-appointment private practice, not an emergency or urgent-care service. In an emergency, go directly to a hospital or call 112.
